Gas Turbine Engine
Single-shaft main engine with a rated power of 54 MW.
The engine is designed for cold end drives and complies with ISO electrical specifications.
∙ Compressor inlet casing and inlet manifold.
∙ Two bleed valves for air release during startup and shutdown.
∙ Single annular combustor with third-generation dry low-emissions.
Combustion Air Supply System
∙ Filter chamber with service platform and ladder. ∙ A dual-stage pulse cleaning system with two filtration stages, class F7 pulse filters as the first stage and class E10 disposable high-efficiency static filters as the second stage.
∙ Support structure for the filter chamber.
∙ Silencer.
Exhaust system
∙ Insulated axial exhaust diffuser with support.
∙ Stack height: 18 m above ground.
∙ Prepared for installation of a changeover valve
(bypass valve not included).
∙ Exhaust pipe, including bellows, adapter
piece, and silencer with internal insulation.

Gas turbine casing ventilation
∙ Two 100% AC-driven fans creating an atmospheric vacuum within the gas turbine casing. The fan
assembly is located outside the casing.
∙ Single-stage, disposable, barrier-type air filter, class G4.
∙ Carbon steel air ducts.
∙ Inlet and outlet equipped with:
Silencers
Weather louvers
Shutoff valves
Gas fuel system
∙ Internal gas fuel unit.
∙ Manual shutoff valve and pneumatically actuated gas shutoff valve.
∙ Y-shaped strainer with differential pressure measurement.
∙ Stainless steel piping downstream of the filter.
∙ Vent valve to atmosphere.
Leak test of vent and shut-off valves with a pressure sensor during startup.
∙ Two spring-loaded, pneumatically actuated quick-closing valves with a vent valve between them.
∙ Primary gas control valve, driven by an AC servomotor, to two primary gas manifolds.

Ignition system
∙ Primary gas fuel used as ignition gas.
∙ Pressure regulator, shut-off, and bleed valves (solenoid).
∙ High-energy spark plug for cross-ignition.
Starting system
Static frequency converter controlled by an electric starter and an AC turning motor with a gearbox.
∙ Drive shaft with bearings and an SSS-type overrunning clutch.

Electric Generator
Four-pole synchronous AC generator with a salient pole rotor. Brushless excitation system with a rotating rectifier and PMG for excitation power. Lubricating oil is supplied by gas.
Common turbo generator system.
11,000 V, 50 Hz, and 1,500 rpm.
Power factor 0.8.
Generator cooling IC6 A1 A6, TEAAC.

Electrical and control equipment
∙ Freestanding LER, including interior lighting, HVAC, external stairs and platforms. Separate
UPS battery module.
Motor Control Center
Motor Control Center (MCC), including
Low Voltage Distribution IEC 61439 Form 4b and drawer-mounted design, supplying all loads,
except the starting system.
Control System
A microprocessor-based control, monitoring, and protection system with a PC-based operator station.
The application software in the controllers is battery-powered for two months.
